Are you looking for a day of fun without spending a dime? Warren County offers plenty of exciting activities that are both free (or...almost free) and memorable! Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a history buff, or simply just in need of a relaxing day out, here's just a sampling of the cost-friendly fun you can find in Ohio's Largest Playground!

1. Go on a Fossil Hunt!
Explore the ancient past at Caesar Creek State Park, one of the Midwest's most geologically rich regions and a popular spot for fossil hunting. You are bound to find plenty of fossils from the Ordovician Period, making it an exciting adventure for all ages. Remember to stop by the Visitor Center to obtain a free permit before you begin your hunt, and bring a small container to store your fossil treasures!

2. Take a Hike at Armco Park!
For those who love spending time in nature, Lebanon's Armco Park is an absolute must-visit. This peaceful Warren County park offers hiking trails that are perfect for a quiet morning walk or an energizing afternoon hike. As you explore, you’ll find scenic ponds, meadows, and wooded areas, providing beautiful backdrops for photos or even just moments of peace.

3. Embark on the OLP GeoTour!
If you're in the mood for something a bit more interactive, the Ohio’s Largest Playground GeoTour is a perfect way to explore Warren County. This free geocaching tour combines treasure hunting with a bit of local exploration. Using a GPS device or the official GeoCaching app, you’ll follow clues to discover hidden caches at various locations around the county.

4. Bike the Little Miami Scenic Trail
