Beach Mountain Joins 2014 Holiday Lineup in Warren County, Ohio
WARREN COUNTY, OH (October 23, 2014) — Beach Mountain — a 400 foot, 10-lane snow tubing hill and winter play area — is expected to add a great deal of excitement to Warren County, Ohio’s lineup of holiday attractions, according to the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB).
“Winter is always a vibrant and exciting time here in Warren County, and the opening of Beach Mountain will only add to the fun,” said Phillip S. Smith, President & CEO of the WCCVB. “This new attraction brings a unique, high-thrill element that will complement Great Wolf Lodge, shopping, indoor attractions such as Lazer Kraze, holiday festivals and other activities which already are popular with wintertime travelers.”
The wintertime counterpart of Mason, Ohio’s Beach Waterpark, Beach Mountain will welcome its first guests November 21 and remain open until March.
Elsewhere in Mason, the Great Wolf Lodge will transform into Snowland November 29 through January 4, featuring a life-size gingerbread house, Santa visits, holiday activities for kids, and more. Its 84 degree indoor waterpark will also remain open for the duration of the winter.
The Christmas Ranch in Morrow, Ohio will welcome guests November 28 through December 31, showcasing its nationally-renowned outdoor walk-through display of more than 500,000 LED lights, synchronized to holiday music. Holiday-themed shops, pictures with Santa, winter-themed train rides and food and drink offerings will round out the guest experience.
The towns of Lebanon, Waynesville and Springboro are home to decorated, historic Main Streets, a variety of dining options and more than 100 antique, boutique and specialty shops. Visitors can shop for homemade jams and more at Jam & Jelly Lady in Lebanon, find thousands of fabrics at The Fabric Shack in Waynesville, or hunt for traditional and unique holiday décor at King’s Mills General Store and Christmas Shop in Kings Mills. Locally owned and operated clothing, antique and décor shops complete the holiday shopping experience in Warren County.
Lebanon’s Horse Drawn Carriage Parade & Christmas Festival, scheduled to take place December 6, will feature more than 100 decorated carriages pulled by mini horses, Clydesdales, Percherons, and more, as well as live entertainment, specialty shopping, food and craft booths, and themed train rides on the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad’s North Pole Express.
