Professional Volleyball Returns to Mason 

MASON, OH - April 23, 2013 - Representatives from the National Volleyball League (NVL) have announced their intention to sign a 3-year contract to host their Midwest Championships and Junior Festival at The Beach in Mason, Ohio.

This is the first time the NVL has entered into a multi-year event contract. The 2013 dates for this NVL Triple Crown Event are July 19-21. It is expected to draw nationally-recognized beach volleyball players and fans to the area.

The signing of the contract will take place Wednesday, April 24 at The Beach, an Adventure Landing Park located at 2590 Waterpark Drive in Mason. Representatives from the Los Angeles-based NVL will be conducting a site visit at that time. The NVL CEO and Founder Albert "Al-B" Hannemann and CFO Molly Menard, and The Beach General Manager Ralph Vilardo will be available for media interviews from 10-11:30 am.

The National Volleyball League strives to elevate the visibility and credibility of beach volleyball by cultivating lasting relationships between the league and the greater community. Founded in 2010 by 18-year professional beach volleyball veteran Albert "Al-B" Hannemann, The NVL has been created and designed to fully support the needs of the players, fans, and sponsors. Through education, coaching and accessibility, the NVL continually works to bridge gaps and drive the sport to new levels. At the core of this movement is a commitment to fostering meaningful relationships and collaborating with the entire beach volleyball community at all levels, including youth, junior, collegiate and professional.

The Beach is now under new management. Adventure Holdings, LLC owns and operates 18 family entertainment centers and 2 water parks across the country. The company strives to offer every guest affordable family fun. The Beach recently spent more than $5 million on renovations and new attractions.
