Warren County CVB has a New Director of Marketing
MASON, OH - (April 4, 2013) - Mary Fessler has joined the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB) as its new Director of Marketing, the bureau has announced.
Fessler will manage and lead the leisure marketing department for the WCCVB. She will be responsible for strategically planning and overseeing all marketing programs including advertising, public relations and digital marketing for leisure, sports, meetings and bureau business.
"Mary has more than 25 years of experience in marketing and media buying, and we are excited about what she brings to the table," said Phillip S. Smith, the President & CEO of the WCCVB. "She will absolutely be a great asset to us at the bureau, and to our partners, to help drive visitors to Warren County, Ohio's Largest Playground."
Fessler is a resident of Washington Township and graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio and Television.Prior to joining WCCVB, Fessler worked as the Marketing Director for United Way of the Greater Dayton Area, Marketing Director for Cityfolk, Manager of Corporate Development for ThinkTV, and at various corporations and ad agencies in Dayton and Indianapolis.
She has presented at the National PBS Development Conference as well as at area conferences about marketing/development. Her articles on event sponsorships and nonprofit marketing have been published in regional and national publications and websites.
