Warren County CVB Receives 4 Awards at State CVB Conference

COLUMBUS, OH (September 17, 2015) – The Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB) received four awards for excellence in destination marketing at the Ohio Association of Convention & Visitors Bureaus’ (OACVB) 2015 Middy Awards today.

"It’s always an outstanding honor to be recognized by the OACVB," said Phillip S. Smith, President & CEO of the WCCVB. "Our team works incredibly hard every day to develop creative and innovative marketing material to promote all we have in Ohio's Largest Playground. It's always nice to be recognized for those efforts.”

The Middy Awards serve to highlight outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts made by OACVB members. This year's awards included 13 different categories subdivided into three budget levels. Warren County competed in the highest budget level alongside such CVBs as Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland.

The WCCVB was awarded first place honors for its television advertisement “Family Fun” spot, as well as second place honors for its monthly consumer e-newsletter, leisure travel print advertisements, and annual report. The television spot, print ads, and annual report were created in conjunction with Miamisburg, Ohio-based agency Wilson Rebranding, while the monthly e-newsletter was produced in-house with assistance from marketing platform Informz.
