Warren County to Host Youth Baseball World Series July 16-19

Warren County to Host More than 250 Youth Baseball Teams this Summer 

WARREN COUNTY, OHIO (July 15, 2015) – Warren County, Ohio is set to welcome more than 1,400 youth baseball players and supporters this weekend, as it hosts the 2015 Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) World Series, according to Warren County Sports, a department of the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB).

The tournament, which will be held at Hamilton Township’s CTC Fields, will feature more than 27 teams of players ages 10 and under from five different states.

“It’s going to be another outstanding weekend of baseball,” said Ben Huffman, Director of Sports Marketing for the WCCVB. “We’re looking forward to working with the CABA, and to showing all of these kids and their families everything our county has to offer both on and off the diamond.”Huffman estimates the event will have an economic impact of more than $400,000, while also accounting for more than 700 hotel room nights.

Warren County Sports, which was recently named Sports Tourism Organization of the Year by the National Association of Sports Commissions, will host more than 100 sporting events in 2015, drawing more than 178,000 visitors and accounting for more than 70,000 room nights at local hotels and bed & breakfasts.
